The Connection Between Our "Second Brain" And You Looking and Feeling Amazing...

The gut is home to the enteric nervous system, also known as ENS which is separate from the central nervous system. The ENS is made up of two thin layers with more than a hundred million nerve cells in them, more than the spinal cord. These cells line the gastrointestinal track, controlling blood flow and secretions to help the GI tract digest food.

They also help us feel what is happening inside the gut. And since this "second brain" is behind the mechanics of food digestion, it can also affect our emotions and how we feel.

In fact, 90% of serotonin is produced by the vagus nerve that runs through our gut into our brain. So if your digestive system isn't functioning properly, you won't be producing enough serotonin and therefore it will affect our mood. It can cause inflammation in the brain, which can lead to anxiety, depression, brain fog, as well as food Allergies, constipation - all of which makes it nigh on impossible for you to lose those unwanted pounds and excess weight.

Does this make sense so far?

Okay, So How do You Repair Your Gut?
Well, it's not as simple as just saying, "stop, eating gluten", "stop eating dairy", and just take a probiotic. But it is pretty simple to heal your leaky gut in a relatively short amount of time without doing any crazy diet. And like I mentioned earlier you can do it in  way that doesn't require counting calories or starving yourself, or the deprivation and suffering associated with conventional dieting.

Fixing your gut is as simple as a four step process.

1. Remove.

We want to detox or cleanse and everything functions more effectively. When we clear out the toxins and the obstructions in the waste, your body is actually designed to detox toxins from your body. This is where our liver comes into play. However, when you have leaky gut, your liver can't function properly when managing or dealing with all yur toxins.

Therefore, it's really important to remove these toxins from your body. Now these toxins can come from many different things. They can come from the foods that we eat that are highly processed. They can come from pollution in the air or other toxins, and some of these things we have absolutely no control over. And so it's really important to be able to eliminate these from the body. After you've removed the toxins contributing to leaky gut, it's time to heal the damage.

2. Replace and 3. Repair.

This is what most see as the form of a probiotic, and we're going to talk about that in a little bit, but we also do this with proper nutrition. So the combination of nutrition and some key supplements really get the job done relatively quickly. In fact, the whole detoxing and rebuilding process can take place in as little as 20- 30 days.

4. Rebalance and Maintain

And then once you detox the toxins and you've repaired your leaky gut, you want to keep it functioning properly so you can maintain proper gut health with a few lifestyle changes, improve nutrition and supplementation.
